Insemination: Introduction by artificial means of sperm cells into the uterus. Covered are only inseminations using donated sperm cells or cryopreserved sperm cells from the partner. Inseminations using fresh partner sperm can also be carried out by physicians without a licence in accordance with Art. 8 RMA and is therefore not subject to reporting requirements.  ●  Following the adoption of the “Marriage for All” bill, since 1 July 2022 female couples have had access to sperm donation.
