If a registered child requests information on the sperm donor from the Federal Office for Civil Registration (EAZW), and if the requirements specified in Art. 27 para. 1 or 2 RMA are met, then the EAZW informs the sperm donor about the request for information. If the donor is in agreement, the EAZW can disclose the current contact data to the child. In all other cases (donor cannot be traced or refuses contact), the child is entitled to receive the information registered at the time of the sperm donation (Art. 27 para. 3 RMA).
